Stain and Scoop is a DIY studio and dessert parlor, featuring Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, bubble waffles,  edible cookie dough, fresh baked cookies, and delicious Stone Creek coffee drinks. We offer walk-in board painting, private parties, specialty workshops, team building events for businesses, space rental and many other art and craft workshops.

We aren't just about food and crafts, though. We have a mission much bigger than that! Our mission is to provide jobs for teens and young adults with disabilities in a positive, fun, warm and welcoming environment. The unemployment rate for para-abled people is above a staggering 80%, usually because workplaces just won't give them a chance. So, we're on a mission to lower that unemployment rate and prove to the community (and world) that people with different abilities have a very valuable place in this world and can do incredible things.

We hope that the joy and positivity of our shop and employees is contagious and that you'll find Stain and Scoop to be a wonderful community place that you and your friends and family frequent often. Come for desserts, DIY, or both! Either way, we'll be happy to see you.

Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream

Offering simply the best ice cream made in Wisconsin! (All ice cream is Certified Kosher through Chicago Rabbinical Council. We also do not offer ice creams with tree nuts or peanuts, though the ice cream is made in a facility that processes them). Ice cream flavors may change every 1-3 weeks. Please note, sometimes we run out of flavors over the course of a day and do not have time to update the website every day, so the best way to see our flavors is to come on in!

Bubble Waffles

What the heck is a bubble waffle, you ask?
Also known as an egg waffle, it is a spherical egg-based waffle popular in Hong Kong and Macau, consisting of an eggy leavened batter cooked between two plates of semi-spherical cells. They are usually served hot, and are crispy on the outside while staying soft on the inside. They and can be eaten plain, although our favorite way to eat them is with whipped cream, flavored syrups, fresh fruit, candy toppings, or ice cream. YUM!

Cookie Dough Bliss Edible Cookie Dough

Safe to eat edible cookie dough?! Yes, please! Made with heat treated flour and pasteurized eggs, this delicious dough will keep you coming back for more! Eat it with your ice cream or on its own! Flavors offered include:

  • Vegan Birthday Cake

  • M&M Birthday Cake

  • Triple Chocolate Brownie

What could be better than cookies with ice cream? Yeah, we can’t think of anything either.

Here are the specialty combo desserts offered:

  • Cookie Dough Sundae (Pick your flavor of dough and your flavor of ice cream. Topped with whipped cream, sauce and sprinkles)

  • Cookie A la Mode (Your choice of cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top)

  • ​Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich (Assorted ice cream flavors sandwiched between two baked cookies)

From drip coffee to Affogato, we have many coffee drinks to suit your mood. All drinks are made with locally roasted Stone Creek coffee.
